OPath: Verrucous hyperplasia and Verrucous Carcinoma form an age old problem of differential diagnosis. It is very important to define the correct criteria of diagnosis of these two entities because of difference in the treatment and prognosis. It is unfortunate that even today we have no additional methods of helping us in differentiating the two conditions except for morphological findings. It is of paramount importance that every pathologist should be able to differentiate these two lesions with as much accuracy as possible.
It is in this light that the present case has been presented.
The case has been taken from the library of Oral Pathology Digital Slide Set prepared by DIGISCAN.
