A humanitarian catastrophe at a scale not seen in decades is unfolding in war-torn Sudan. Tens of thousands have been killed. Famine threatens many more. CORE joined a Commitment to Action to support mutual aid in Sudan at the Clinton Global Initiative 2024 Annual Meeting to find workable solutions to help address this crisis and avert catastrophe.

CORE is among a group of funders channeling at least $2M by the end of 2024 and an additional $4.5M or more through 2026 to support locally led frontline groups and civil society leaders already working in Sudan to address critical needs.
