This Slow cooker Baby Jackfruit Curry (polos curry) is creamy, a little tangy, and packed with so much flavor😋, and perfect when you need to feed a crowd. This is popular Sri Lankan cuisine that is easy to make and so satisfying.
Ingredients :
2cans/600g - young green jackfruit
1can/400ml - coconut milk
1 medium size onion sliced
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp chopped ginger
2-3 green chilies
a sprig of curry leaves
1 tsp of turmeric powder
2 tsp of chili powder
3 tsp of curry powder
1-inch piece of cinnamon
3 pods of cardamom (slightly bruised)
2-3 nos cloves
2 pcs of medium size goraka (garcinia cambogia) - (You can add 2 tablespoons of tamarind juice instead)
1½ tbsp of oil
Salt to taste
