Do you want to move abroad in 2024? One motivation for many emigrants from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland is the sometimes much lower cost of living abroad. This has the advantage that you have more money in your pocket at the end of the month or have to work less to have a good standard of living.

In this video, I present 20 cities around the world where you can live on a budget of 1500 Euro per month (and in many cases more like 1000 Euro per month). The information on the cost of living such as rent, food, and transportation in these cities has been compiled based on information from the Numbeo website.

The cities listed are located in countries with a rather low cost of living and, in some cases, low tax rates. For example, Asunción in Paraguay, Cebu in the Philippines and Plovdiv in Bulgaria are cities in countries with comparatively low taxes.

Other cities such as Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro or Marrakesh still offer a comfortable life for 1500 euros a month despite higher taxes, as the overall cost of living is moderate.

In the video, I briefly discuss the cost of rent, food, and transportation for each of these 20 cities and provide additional information such as the climate, sights, and culture. This makes it easy for you to find out which of these cities is best suited to your idea of living on 1500 euros a month. I hope you enjoy watching!
