after all, Yorkie poo is a designer breed and the most popular Yorkie mix which is the best of both miniature poodle and yorkie, does it mean yorkie poo is better than yorkie.... Weeellshhaaa , you'll find out

So I have a yorkie and I spoke to few yorkiepoo owners and I found out there are few differences between them

So here are 5 differences between Yorkies and yorkies poo..

1. Intelligence -
While yorkies are quite intellegent , poodles takes it to the next level in fact they rank 2nd for the most intellegent breed, Hence yorkiepoo as well usually picks on the intellegent side of the poodle.. and learn commands really quick but would also get bored easily of repition training so you gotta mix it and make training fun.

2. Personality -Although these 2 breeds are pretty similar there's quite some difference in their personality.. Yorkies have a slightly more aggressive nature whereas yorkie poos tend to be slightly more gentle but inspite of that they have a higher energy level and needs little more exercise.

3. Friendliness - Both yorkies and yorkiepoo are friendly and very accepting of meeting new people.. although yorkies can be a little territorial, Whereas the poodle in yorkie poo adds a bit to the friendlies and playful nature of them

4. tolerates being alone - We know how much yorkies hates being alone and the same goes for yorkiepoo, In fact they hate it a little more, they an't tolerate being alone well and would always prefer being with their human

and lastly the main difference

5. Appearance (Their appearance) Yorkies have a smooth straight silky coat whereas Yorkie poo could either have a straight or curly silky coat... The y come in a wide variety of colors like brown, black, grey or white, also they are slightly more sturdy but again should be handled with care as these are really delicate dogs.

Now most of the traits a yorkiepoo gets could depend on which of it's parent it gets it from.. That the thing about mix breeds, you're not sure.. it could be either more of a yorkie or more of a toy poodle
Which is why you hear some people say go for pure breed so you know what to expect.. but again even in pure breed every dog personality varies so just go for whatever your heart feels like and it wouldn't be fair for me to pick sides.. and even if I can pick sides Chewy wouldn't be so pleased like the last time I picked a side it went something like ahhhh
