You've just finished a change to a web application. Great! But how do you test to ensure the change didn't affect something else on the web page? What if you have multiple layers of JavaScript that also need to work in concert, but you're not sure if they still work properly. And what about testing between different browsers? Rather than maintaining a checklist you can use Selenium to help automate your web testing. Selenium is an automated web application testing solution. It allows complete control over most browsers allowing repeatable, end-to-end web application testing without requiring manual intervention. In this talk we'll walk through the basics of setting up a Selenium WebDriver using Python. We'll then show how it can be used to test a web application by exploring various test cases. You won't want to miss this talk!
