Its ALMOST time for my birthday, so I have to get all dolled up!
Something I want you guys to be aware of is that my birthday is a few weeks after Christmas Day. So a lot of the time, people are trying to use the next few months to get their finances in order....and I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE! lol!

This past year, I have learned ALOT about money. Most African Americans lack in the financial education area. I decided that I wanted to learn more about money and how to save, invest, and make my money work for me. This is one of the things that I have learned about saving money....
when it comes to your birthday, you don't have to go ALL OUT or OVERSPEND. You can wear something that you already have in the closet, do your own hair and makeup, and even do your own lashes if you're feeling frisky!

This year, I barely spent a dime on my birthday and that is a FIRST!
