SMALL KITCHEN MAKEOVER - AMAZING TRANSFORMATION! | DIY KITCHEN RENOVATION

Hi everyone, welcome to my kitchen makeover! So happy to have got this video out of the way. I've actually had this complete a while but its taken me a while to get around to finish filming the reveal so sorry about that!

The old kitchen was so dark and had a terrible layout and although I am actually planning to get a kitchen extension in the future, I really needed to make the kitchen more 'liveable' in the meantime.

As I was having a new boiler fitted, I needed to move around some of the cupboards to make room for it, then when it came to the boiler being installed, you may remember that I had an issue with some of the pipework which meant I needed to pull out some more of the cupboards. It was whilst doing this that I got the inspiration for the new layout. So, the hassle with the pipework was actually a blessing in disguise because the new layout now works so much better and it has created a much more functional space.

The walls were painted white, white metro tiles were added and I wrapped the worktops using dc fix which has all helped really brighten up the space. With the addition of some old and new accessories I now have a kitchen that I really enjoy being in. It also means that I am now not in as much of a rush to get around to getting the extension built!
