I am painting a picture using Gerhard Richter's squeegee technique: I have placed a small canvas, 40 x 40 cm, on my work table, along with various acrylic colours, a smoothing trowel, a squeegee and a flat brush. I will use this to paint an abstract acrylic painting and show how I first create a background with the colours green, blue and gold before applying acrylic paints with a smoothing trowel in the style of Gerhard Richter. I then scrape the colour off the canvas again with my squeegee tool. The result is an abstract summery acrylic painting with many layers of colour. I am very happy about a ‘Like’ and a comment!
