In this video, join me as I tackle the installation and setup of the Wanderer Astro WonderBox Plus V3 on my telescope! Watch as I expertly mount it on my ADM rail using some fantastic little plates I scored from Amazon (link below). I’ll take you through the entire wiring process, complete with handy cable clips (also linked below) that make custom runs a breeze! I had to tweak the environmental sensor for the perfect mount on my scope, and you'll see how I routed the temperature probe into the front of the scope, right alongside the Celestron Dew heater, to keep a close eye on its temperature. I’ll also show you how I installed the @wandererastro5003 ASCOM driver and the Wanderer Empire control software, connecting it seamlessly with NINA to configure my devices! After some testing and fine-tuning of the dew control settings, I discovered the ideal setup to avoid star distortions. So, do I recommend the WandererBox Plus V3? Absolutely, a resounding YES! This incredible power and data control unit has allowed me to streamline everything into one controllable device from my astrophotography software! It's simply amazing!!
