I traveled to Japan with the goal of hiking Japan's tallest mountain, Mt. Fuji. As a legally blind traveler I documented my hike in the off-season to share the challenges a visually impaired person would face taking on Mt. Fuji. This was a childhood dream of mine since I was a kid.

Inspired to travel by my favorite video game series, Pokémon, I played the classic Gold Version on GameBoy during my journey leading up to the climatic ending of the game on the real world equivalent to Pokémon's final dungeon. This video is a second half of my film 'From Pixels to Peaks' that excludes the day to day Japan travels and highlights of the Pokémon playthrough leading up to achieving this dream.
