Meet Gilles Lorrain, owner and head chef of Nomade Taipei.
Gilles developed an early fascination with the art of gastronomy and his passion for food motivated him to take one adventure after another all around the world after finishing studies in a prestigious culinary institute inBelgium.

After starting his career in Belgium, he was offered opportunities to work professionally in Mexico, Canada, France, Australia, and Taiwan. His international experience has shaped his vision and cooking style.

Gilles discovered Taiwan in 2019 and fell in love with the country. He decided to come back to start his own restaurant in Taipei.
