The principle of intergenerational equity is essentially a principle that reflects fairness or justice between generations. This principle is used mostly as a principle of International environmental law. The principle postulates that the Earth is jointly held by the members of the present generation and the future generations. This principle puts forth a duty on the present generation to use and conserve resources keeping in mind the rights of the future. This principle is foundational to the concept of sustainable development.
In continuance of the introductory video series, CELRA is pleased to present the second video. This video is presented by Shubh Rohilla, a final year engineering student of GB Pant Govt. Engineering College on the intergenerational equity principle.
