A detailed, up-close look at both sides of the Magic 2 Legno concealed sliding door system, two years after a bedroom renovation!

A few years back, we got the chance to install a really unique custom floating door for some clients of ours. We recently returned to the site to begin a new renovation project, and got a rare chance to check in and see how the previous installations were holding up. Spoiler alert 🚨 : the door is working even better than the day we installed it 👍.

Due to the steep pitch of the ceiling in their third story master bedroom, we had to no choice but to get creative when it came to closing off the entrance to their newly renovated space. After working closely with millworkers to custom build a partition wall and a matching door (scribed to the same angle as their ceiling), we elected to go with the Magic 2 Legno Sliding Door System. As you probably know, we've used this hardware a number of times in the past, and love that it allows us to create extremely functional doorways without detracting from the aesthetic.

Widely regarded as the original invisible sliding door system, the Magic2 wall mounted sliding door system (designed and produced in Italy by Terno Scorrevoli) completely conceals the track to create the illusion of a floating door, giving you the option to install it in places you normally wouldn't.
