In 1975 our family drove out west from Chesapeake, VA to San Diego, CA; and then back eastward to our new home in Millington, TN. We towed a travel trailer and stayed in campgrounds each night. Using our trusty Super 8mm camera we filmed our time in Arizona (especially the Grand Canyon), Wyoming (the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone) and South Dakota (the Badlands). Unfortunately there was no worthwhile footage in California, and the interesting legs between CA and WY lack any coverage at all. We also spent time in the Black Hills, but again why we didn't film anything while there is a mystery.
