I went to Jersey City, NJ to try Filipino Food. I tried goto for the first time. Goto is a Filipino rice porridge that has pork stomach (tripe), innards and sliced eggs. See my reaction as I try goto along with suman sa ibos for dessert. Jersey city has some of the best Filipino food around Manhattan and this does not disappoint. I also tried pork siopao (Filipino buns) and ube pandesal (purple yam bread) which were delicious! I enjoy the food of the Philippines and the great communities the search for it takes me to.
