Although, it was functional it was sad, UGLY and flat out blah. Join me as I tackle this closet for the LAST time and turn it into the beautiful space that I now absolutely adore!! As always, I've compared the cost of hiring a professional verses doing it yourself and you will not believe how much I was quoted for this 90 square foot space. They harassed me for daaaaays after I spoke to them, they just KNEW they was gonna get one over on me, but NOPE I got this myself!!

For those interested, below you will find what and where I got nearly everything used for this project.

Black Paint: Valspar StormCoat 100% acrylic paint. Finish: appears to be satin. Color: Black (specific color unknown). Location: Lowes Oops Paint Section

White Paint: Valspar Signature Interior Paint + Primer. Finish: Unsure, can painted over, but appears to be Satin. Color: Ultra White. Location: Lowes

Light: Similar to a Brass & Smoke Glass hexagon flush mount ceiling light. Location: Habitat for Humanity Restore

Light bulbs: LED Decorative B-10 bulbs, Non-dimmable, clear glass. 15 Watt Equivalent/1.5 Watts/125 Lumens. Location: Walmart

Electrical Safety Warning: When installing a light fixture, its not enough to simply turn off the light switch; if someone is looking for you, sees you in the dark, they may innocently flip the light on and all of a sudden your FRAZZLED, FRIED and FINISHED! Be smart, educate yourself and adhere to all safety precautions. If you plan on tackling tasks like this, I highly recommend you purchase a Voltage Tester Pen.
