Under the direction of Cheryl Woldseth, the 62-member Nevada County Concert Band (plus 10 Band Hands) performs at the 1st of 4 Picnic Pops Concerts held annually each summer. This concert was at Pioneer Park in Nevada City, California.

"A Trumpeter's Lullaby" is composed by Leroy Anderson, and arranged by Philip J. Lang. The announcer is Gordon Pipkin.

This 6/26/2016 concert was themed "Musical Safari" was filled with music depicting animals, locations, and adventure.

The Jerry Foote Scholarship was established in 2013 to promote the development of our community’s musicians ages 16-24, to benefit local music education programs, and to support local private music teachers.
