Mozzarella Sticks & Rigatoni Alla Vodka | Appetizer and Entree | No vodka/ No alcohol. Easy step by step recipe of your favorite italian american diner favorites. Instead of using penne, I used Rigatoni. I skipped the vodka and just used our pasta water to enhance the flavor of our sauce. whether you decide to make penne alla vodka or use rigatoni pasta is up to you! Don't forget to make the mozzarella sticks yourself using some string cheese and a mix of breadcrumbs. I baked these because it so much easier that way, and you still get that good crunch. Check the ingredients below!

Ingredients:

Mozzarella Sticks
8 Mozzarella Sticks
1/3 cup Panko
1/3 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
1/3 cup Parmesan
1/2 cup Flour
1 tsp Parsley
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 Eggs
1/cup Marinara Sauce

Rigatoni Alla Vodka
8 ounces Rigatoni pasta
5 slices Bacon
1/4 Onion
2 cloves garlic
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
2 tsp Parsley
Pinch of Cayenne
10 oz homemade pasta sauce (See my IG for Recipe)
1/4 or less pasta water
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup parmesan cheese
