This is a part 2 update of a small cheap pond I setup for my Honey Blue-eye, in this video you will see you don't need hundreds of dollars to breed some nice fish for fun.
If you've missed part one the build and preparation of the setup go and check it out, after being setup for just a month I have 2 lots of fry and the plants are growing really well to the extent that I can start propagating from them.
This type of pond setup is great to educate kids and will also attract other animals to your yard such as frogs and birds and can be used for all types of nano fish, just remember to do it responsibly and don't release unwanted fish into our waterways as they can become pests, I find it a good practice to use local fish to you, I am lucky that the Honey Blue-eye is local to me and is endangered in the wild so it makes sense to me to breed as many as I can, Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy this video.
