Here’s my step by step path to finding a great modern fusion guitar tone.
I developed this sequence by studying the unreal Allan Holdsworth over the last 20+ years. This is the sequence he used during most of that period.

By following the sequence I’ll show you, you will learn how to BUILD your guitar tone from the ground up.

It’s not rocket science so don’t expect some magical setting or pedal. In fact, it’s stupidly simple! The key is to listen! Listen to your tone and how much you change it at each step in your chain. There’s already the sound you want to hear imbedded inside you. This should help you reveal that. Better tone makes you feel better, play better and play more!
