Shortline railway swapping cars with grain customer. SW9 small switch locomotive works on the mainline with bigger EMD locomotives owned by Cincinnati East Terminal Railway CCET. Norfolk Southern owns this ex Norfolk & Western Railway branch and leases it to CCET. Watch as the railway crew takes empties to Winchester Ag Services and picks up grain loads. Filmed in Winchester and Sardinia, Ohio. Listen to these awesome locomotives and to the railroad radio 160.860 as all 3 locomotives earn their keep. EMD GP49s built in 1985 and the EMD SW9 built about 35 years earlier. The grain elevator owns the small switcher after leasing it for years from National Railway Equipment NRE from Mount Vernon, Illinois. Recorded March 16, 2016 on location by the JawTooth crew.
