In this project I will be making self locking height adjustment knobs for the Aloris quick change tool post on my lathe.
These knobs are an alternative to the standard jam nut style height adjustment on most tool posts.
These help to alleviate the common issues with the jam nuts sticking together and unthreading the entire height post when attempting to loosen them for height adjustment.
