JANUARY 2022 SERMON SERIES – Sundays ONLINE – 10am
If you’ve been anywhere on the planet earth for the past two years, you are aware of the tragedies and challenges we have all had to face because of one word: PANDEMIC. But it is not just this one word. Every area of our lives continues with the added pressures of pandemic living. Many questions still loom. When will things go back to normal? What do we do next? Do we dare HOPE that there will be a brighter day since our HOPE has been under continual assault? With these questions in mind, what should we do? First and foremost, we must keep HOPE alive knowing that God is our very present help in our time of need. Second, we must hold on to the HOPE that God is on our side, God will never fail us, and God is greater than our darkest situation, whatever that may be. Third, we must know that our faith in God’s power to deliver is rooted in our HOPE that God can and will. This provides a level of comfort that mere words cannot express. Finally, we must believe that HOPE is the unwavering characteristic that keeps us fighting, even when we have been knocked down. Despite what our eyes show us, and our emotions tell us, DO NOT LOSE HOPE. Keep fighting! With this kind of HOPE, we will have a brighter day!
