The two representations of Godzilla that most represent nuclear terror face each other. Thirty years separate one from the other, the first fruit of terror, guilt and resignation experienced by the Japanese country for having been the great loser at the end of the Second World War. And the second a cruel reminder of those fears in which last and most dangerous years of the cold war. Perhaps we need a Godzilla solo movie that represents those fears aroused by the war in Russia and Ukraine? Considering that Shin Godzilla has a completely different origin, perhaps we need a new example . Anyway, I stop rambling, here are the two Godzilla designs that never had to fight any kaiju because they were already the ultimate terror of nuclear war, enjoy it.
