Join me aboard the QUEEN OF COWICHAN as we sail from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay (British Columbia, Canada). Built in 1976 in Victoria, this C-class vessel is double-ended, allowing it to sail without turning around in port. Powered by two MaK engines producing 11860 horsepower, it reaches a service speed of around 20 knots. The ferry can carry 312 vehicles and 1494 passengers, offering a smooth and scenic journey across the waters of British Columbia.

Time stamps:

00:15 Drive to the BC Ferries Terminal
03:30 Port entry
04:50 Check-in

12:20 Presentation of the ship's interior

18:45 Departure
37:24 Arrival

Important note for times and figures: I use the Central European form (in this case the form used in Germany) for all information, as this is a German production and the English-language texts are merely a service for my non-German-speaking visitors. This means that 6:00 pm is used in Canada and is 18:00 in my video. In English, the usual 17.70 m is 17,70 m here.
