Coughlan: "There is such vulnerability in those scenes and it's also a really important part of the story. Like those scenes in this show are important, they're an important part of the narrative. They're not throw away. So they're not short scenes. They're important. But like you made me feel really taken care of. Like we really had each other's backs and and also then we could just have a laugh about, like, the way that we just, like, lying under a blanket, being like, I should chill now like this..."
Newton: "Yeah, halfway through the day, you just relax. I don't really care if I'm naked."
Coughlan: "They were like, do you want to get up? We were like, 'no, no, I'm fine. I'm comfy.'"

Coughlan: "Oh my God, they're so excited, slash furious. They're like, 'why is it made, why in two parts?' I'm like, 'that's Mister Netflix's question, it's way above my pay grade.'"
Newton: "I think they've been very patient."
Coughlan: "They've been very patient."
Newton: "It's here, it's coming."
Coughlan: "It's coming and from now on they'll be given lots of little treats along the way. So it's not it's no drought no more. We're ready to like..."
Newton: "I was surprised at the stuff that's put out today. I was like, 'that's a rich treat.'"
Coughlan: "That's a good one, that's a good one today, yeah."

Coughlan: "Listen, we're going on a serious world tour. So it's an actual time to, like, go and meet the fans properly for the first time."
Newton: "Between seasons, between the releases."
Coughlan: "Between the releases, and there'll be lots of stuff happening."
Newton: "I'm gonna say something happens at the end of four that is just so, people need time to digest it."
Coughlan: "It's a big moment, it's a huge cliffhanger so you're going to need a minute to. And also essentially we filmed for eight months. So we're like, 'you sit down and you wait for that second half. We worked really hard."

"I remember we used to have school discos in the village hall or in the school hall, there'd be a glitterball. And there'd be, 'Now we're coming to the last song of the evening, Ladies and gentlemen. It's always 'Nights in White Satin,' and I was all like, 'yeah, I'm going to the loo now,' because who wants to stand against the wall like that? Like, 'I'm not really here, I hate this, nobody wants to dance with me, I'm embarrassed.' I was the wallflower. So I find this season really touching because tons of us were, actually, probably more of us were than weren't. And it's just nice for the wallflower to come out in the sun and get her moment to actually go like that, 'oh, It's okay.'"
