Kinetic sculpture by Boris Atanasovski.

This sculpture is a tribute to my favorite kinetic artist Didier Legros and it is based on his piece called "Dream Learner" and it was commissioned by private collector from NY. I kept an overall layout but i made my elements and i added a remote controlled LED lighting that is mounted on the right side.
Both motor and LED lighting are powered by same 12V power supply and can be turned on and off separately. This way the sculpture can be used only as a decorative lamp.
It uses 25mm (1") glass balls.
I named it "Shadows" for an obvious reason. When lit from a frontal light source you get the shadows on the wall that bring up additional dimention. But when lit only with internal LED lighting the shadows dissapear and you get a completely different experience (as can be seen on video).
Enjoy!

Well known music is from Edvard Grieg's famous piece from Peer Gynt (1876) and is made by Kevin MacLeod - well done Kevin!
