In this play, a boy is a wolf taking form as a puppet, struggling with the experience and trauma of transnational, transracial adoption. Meanwhile, the potential caretakers orbit each other in their own dramas about chosen and unchosen family, all amid the vagaries of love and kinship as seen through a child’s eyes and how his fate is determined by a flawed legal system.
