In this penultimate episode of the restoration of the Renault 4x4 R2087, I am making great strides!
I start by reassembling the exhaust, which was in poor condition. I took the opportunity to adapt a modern, more efficient air filter.
Next, I replace the windshield wipers with a more modern version, which will provide better visibility.
Then it’s time to reassemble the doors. I start by filling the doors with the windows, mechanisms, seals and handles.
Finally, I finish by adapting Jeep Wrangler mirrors. These modern mirrors will provide better visibility and a more current look.
With this video, the restoration of the 4x4 truck is almost complete! In the next video I will make the back tray, which will be the finishing touch to this project.
