預防感冒
老薑陳皮薏米:

材料:
生薏米200克
老薑1舊
陳皮1塊
蜜棗8粒

處理:
1. 生薏米,清水浸。
2. 陳皮,清水浸軟。
3. 薑,去皮,切4~5片。

烹調:
1. 洗淨蜜棗,放入煲。
2. 薑片,洗淨,放入煲
3. 陳皮,刮去囊,放入煲。
4. 加入水2升半。
5. 薏米,浸好,清洗乾淨。
6. 中火煲滾。
7. 另一邊,中火用白鑊炒薏米,炒5分鐘。
8. 薏米已轉金黃色。
9. 放薏米落煲。
10. 薏米水已滾起,轉中慢火。
11. 煲45分鐘至1小時。
12. 煲了1小時,完成,可享用。

Raw coix seed sweet soup with ginger and dried orange peel:

Ingredients:
Raw coix seed 200g
Ginger 1 No.
Dried orange peel 1 pc
Candied dates 8 Nos.

Preparation:
1. Raw coix seed, soak in tap water.
2. Dried orange peel, soak in tap water until it turns soft.
3. Ginger, peel, then cut into 4~5 slices.

Steps:
1. Candied dates, rinse, then put in pot.
2. Ginger slices, rinse, then put in pot.
3. Dried orange peel, remove its sac, put in pot.
4. Add water 2.5L.
5. Raw coix seed, has been soaked well. Rinse thoroughly.
6. Heat up at medium flame.
7. Heat up the wok at medium flame, fry the raw coix seed with no oil. Fry for 5 minutes.
8. Raw coix seed has been turned into golden yellow.
9. Put raw coix seed into pot.
10. Raw coix seed soup has been boiled up. Turn to medium~low flame.
11. Boil for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
12. Soup has been boiled for 1 hour. Serve.
