Plot summary from Pathé catalogue: Rigadin and his fiancée, Andrée, receive a somewhat unusual package: a baby. Rigadin does not know what explanations to give and Andrée, suspicious, leaves him. The next day, a letter from the sender of the package, a friend of Rigadin who has left for a distant journey, abandons the child forever. Andrée finds the letter and the two fiancés adopt the child.
