Queen Mary has a major cause for concern: the plans of Denmark's heir are shocking the royal family. Prince Christian, son of King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark, has had a very busy few months. He was born in October of last year, while his grandmother, Queen Margrethe of Denmark, was still monarch. A traditional salute was held on the palace balcony to celebrate Prince Christian's passage into adulthood, and an official dinner was held at Christiansborg Castle. Approximately 200 young people, at the same age from different regions of the country, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands, were in attendance.
