*Ħaġar Qim* is a prehistoric temple complex in Malta, dating back to around *3600-3200 BC* during the *Ġgantija phase* of Maltese prehistory. Built by the **Megalithic people**, these temples were likely constructed for religious and ceremonial purposes, possibly related to fertility or the worship of earth deities. The builders created this structure using massive limestone blocks, some weighing several tons, and Ħaġar Qim stands as one of the best-preserved examples of Malta's ancient temples, highlighting the island's early architectural and spiritual significance.
