Critique:
I really liked how the video came out this time. It was a lot more difficult. Ai was key in creating the images and videos. When the song starts the vocals 0:15 they hit hard with a strong synthetic David. And i sec t sounds like Martin is also in the background. 0:43 The image of the burning thing was shocking. I couldn’t tell what it was, but I loved AI’s creation. Then at 0:48 when Synthetic Dave starts V1 it is so life like that it becomes an experience. A few seconds later portions of the original @andrea_fryer sample "sync in the veneer" begin. Just like the first time that I hear a new DM track. Goosebumps. The synth in the background is phenomenal. Then the first piano and guitar solo was exactly what Martin would play. 1:40. The track is also a great length at 5:04 in length. But what I think was the best by far was the sync between Dave and Martin. It was a classic instantly. How AI Udio created this is beyond me. A flawless performance. And the lyrics were very much like I would expect a Violator Martin to write. But this goes deeper. The feel overall was an Alan Wilder feel. The synth was reminiscent of a classic Depeche. Especially as the second solo began. 2:39 I felt like Alan was on synths with the Obraheim. To add to it’s perfection, the grim reaper walking in the field during the solo was excellent. Something then happens at 3:03 that I wasn’t expecting. Gore starts oooing in the background. It was such a natural and crisp Gore. It frankly was the best and most memorable part. But the track has so much more to offer that I’m going to let you hear the rest and comment for yourselves. Please let me know what you think. I think that this goes even beyond “Not us” and “Momento Mori”
