At the eastern end of the Shimaji River Dam (Lake Takase), there used to be a ``Sakiyama village''. It is said that four households were separated from the village at the time due to the construction of the dam. At the entrance to the road leading to the village, there is a building that was a meeting place and Kitanikawachi Shrine.
