What is the derivative of secant? How do we take the derivative of secant? Knowing that secant is the reciprocal of cosine, that is, sec(x) = 1/cos(x), we'll be able to differentiate sec(x) using the quotient rule in today's calculus lesson. We'll find that sec'(x) = sec(x)tan(x). What other trig derivatives would you like to see? #Calculus1
