IIM Indore organizes a Himalayan Outbound Program (HOP) for all the second year students of the PGP program. The students who are unable to go on the trek due to some medical constraints or specially-abled condition are allowed to skip the program or go on a jungle safari instead.

Sadly, due to corona our HOP was cancelled. So we planned a trek to Kedarkantha as our HOP.

IIM Indore partners with various trekking companies like Tata Steel Adventure Foundation to take you on a 10 days adventure trip.This in an opportunity for young leaders like us to manage challenging situations, work with strict deadlines and little resources.

This was my first trek and to be honest was truly challenging both physically as was mentally. One thing to note here is that while physical body takes one step after the other, it is our mind that possesses the power to push our body.
