Meet the WORLD'S SMALLEST BEAR - THE SUN BEAR!
A species that recently brought confusion in a zoo in China, where people were claiming it was a human in a bear suit, is actually the sun bear. This little bear is the smallest of all the bear species and also the least studied of all the bear species.

But based in Sepilok, Sabah of Malaysian Borneo is a man who has dedicated his life to understanding and protecting the sun bears, Dr Siew Te Wong. His early research was pioneering in understanding wild sun bears and after seeing the many threats this species faces he opened the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center where rescued sun bears are rehabilitated and can live out their years.

In this video, I go behind the scenes with Dr Siew Te Wong at the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center to dig deeper into the threats this species are facing and learn first hand some of the stories of these beautiful bears.
