Among the main monuments of the city, the Sé de Viseu building stands out, whose imposing image dominates practically the entire city. It is a church with a Latin plan, of Gothic roots, converted into a hall church during the Manueline period. It impresses with the strength of its structure of pillars and knotted rib vaults. Its history, related to the individuals that marked our history and that worked and lived here is important.
