We intended to do the Holden Mill Trail, one of our favorites, before meeting family in the afternoon. This was just over a week since Hurricane Helene.
The Eno River was up to over 14 feet at one time and we knew there would be some debris and washout along the route. We did not expect the ridiculous amount of mosquitos, though we should have.
Fall is coming and we're looking forward to the beautiful colors along the river and in the woods.
