I purchased a butcher block counter top for an island. I was shocked by the condition when I opened the packaging. I had to cut it down to size so the the poor cut quality wasn't a big deal. However I do not want a counter with a dozens holes and the surface wavy. You can't see this until you remove it from the package. On the package it says stain and finish ready. I am letting people know unless you have a 40 in drum sander don't expect to finish this without hours of sanding.
