Are you curious how anti spark connectors work, how you install them and if you even need to use them? What about problems with them?

I'll be covering these common questions as I install these anti spark XT90 connectors (correctly called XT90S connectors) on two new RC LiPo battery packs.

I've been using XT90S anti-spark connectors for close to a year now and am very impressed! So much so, I've replaced most of my high power LiPo battery connectors with these anti spark ones and can't get over how they have completely eliminated the scary spark along with the pitting and carbon tracing that used to occur every single time I plugged a battery into my higher voltage RC helicopters and EDF jets.

While XT90 anti spark connectors may cost a little bit more than standard XT90 connectors, you get that money back many times over by no longer having to replace pitted and damaged connectors every year or so; not to mention no longer dealing with voltage sag and increased ripple voltage from pitted RC connectors.
