Today I will be visiting the planet Moho, the in-game equivalent of mercury, in Kerbal Space Program 2! More specifically though, I’ll be visiting the Mohole – one of the coolest easter eggs in KSP 1 that has been carried over to KSP 2. For those unaware, the Mohole began life as a terrain glitch centred on the North pole of Moho – caused by an error with the planet’s height map, the Mohole is a steep, jagged crater nearly 5km deep and a super interesting place to visit. Players responded so well to the Mohole in fact that it was never patched-out, and in fact was made into an official easter egg in a later KSP 1 update. And now it’s here by-design in KSP 2, and when I got the game I knew that this was one of the first places I just had to check out!
