Joy Chandi hill is a famous rocky landscape in Raghunathpur, Purulia. This place is very famous for JoyChandi Mata Mandir. People have to climb more than 450 steps to reach the top. Legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray shot his film "Hirak Rajar Deshe" here.

We went to Joychandi Hill on the second day of our trip to Purulia. We spent few hours on top of the Hill before we drove to Baranti Lake to enjoy the Sunset of the day.
