An Adventures At Home, LLC video! In this video we’re going to show you how to build the frame for a loft bed! We’ll walk you through all the steps necessary to use common construction lumber to build a loft bed and increase the available floor space in your room. This is a great project and doesn’t require extensive construction experience. This is part one of our loft bed build, so make sure you stay tuned for the next video where we put some finishing touches on the bed.

If you want to check out the new dust masks we talked about and “modeled” the link is below. These are super comfortable, and that, to us, is the most important feature. Why? Because it means we will actually wear them!

About this video: Now that Ryan is starting to get a little bit older, his Lightning McQueen room is getting to be a little young for him. We’re slowly moving towards redoing his room in more of an outdoor theme. One of the biggest parts of his room remodel is to create more space so he has more of a hang-out space. Our first step towards achieving this is to loft his bed, and that way we will be able to put a futon underneath so he has a place to sit, but also has a place for friends to sleep. In this video we’ll show you how to make a loft bed frame out of common board that can be found at any big box store. With just a little time and effort you can transform a room and give it a lot more space by building a loft bed. We think this is a great project, and one of many to transform Ryan’s room. So come on and build with us!
