If you stand in front of the engine, the left head has an R on the sprocket that needs to be aligned with the copper chainlink. On the right head the chainlink should be aligned with the L.
R means rechts and L means Links. Right and Left. it's viewed from the driver perspective.
the chain is put together using a hammer and a wedge. No special tool is used.
you can seal the chainlink using a sharp metal pen.
the timing on the left head seems off-time, but this is the tensioner side, so we should be just fine.
