Today's video is slightly different than usual.
Here in Ontario, Canada, we have been going through so many lockdowns that it really makes it difficult to schedule the filming of our videos. This is why we have had such separation between our videos lately. However, this is what inspired this topic: Kettlebell Training!

I am a big believer in supplementing your training with weight training, but I tend to take a more conservative approach to it. By pacing myself properly and not going too intense, it allows me to get excited about training versus feeling miserable and dreaded the start. This is also why I'm a big fan of starting more gently (almost like the workout is too easy) and slowly increasing it over time. Keep in mind, we are not in this just for a few years and then retire from it... we want to feel like we can train for decades with consistent improvements!
