The EGR solenoid for many V8 3rd Gen Camaros and C4 Corvettes has been discontinued and cannot be purchased. This has been causing problems for many owners of these cars if the current solenoid fails.
I have been researching the part and found another available part that can be used with some mechanical adaptation (brackets, plumbing and pigtails). In my search, I also found that it may replace certain other GM applications with CCC (C3) and CCCC (C4) computer control systems that use a similar solenoid to my 305 Tuned Port (TPI) engine. Those applications may be Buick / Oldsmobile / Pontiac / Chevrolet or Cadillac with certain engines, including some 3.8 and 4.1 V6 and 5.0 V8s. I will list some that I know about below.
