Yvonne Kason MD, MEd, CCFP, FCFP is a Canadian family physician and transpersonal psychotherapist MD (retired), author of 6 books, public speaker, creator of the term "Spiritually Transformative Experience" (SET), and TSE researcher.

Dr. Kason has had five near-death experiences and multiple spiritual transformation experiences. She was previously a professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. She is an internationally renowned medical expert in the field of Spiritual Transformation Experiences, Near Death Experiences and Kundalini Awakenings, highly sought after as a media resource and speaker.

In 1994, Dr. Kason created and coined the term "spiritually transformative experiences" in her groundbreaking book A Farther Shore. She defined CSE as a generic term that encompasses various spiritual experiences, such as mystical experiences, kundalini/spiritual energy awakenings, psychic experiences of all kinds, near-death experiences, other CSE related to death and death. inspired creativity.
